Privatkäserei Bergader and renowned photographer Klaus Maria Einwanger celebrated the official project presentation of “Bergbauern erleben” with an exclusive exhibition and prominent guests at Kulturforum Klosterkirche Traunstein.
On April 18, around 150 invited guests gathered in the impressive premises of the Traunstein Abbey Church to take part in the official presentation of the “Experience Mountain Farmers” project. Over drinks and small snacks, visitors had the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other in a cozy atmosphere and get to know the project managers from Bergader and KME. An exclusive exhibition of selected motifs by Klaus Maria Einwanger created the thematic framework and gave event participants a first taste of the project and the upcoming evening.
Inspiring insights and poignant honesty
In the impressive hall of the directly adjacent monastery church, the guests were welcomed by the Bavarian Minister of Agriculture Michaela Kaniber and briefed on the topic and message of the evening with a motivating opening speech. Felix Kreß, managing director of Bergader, also explained the goal with the multimedia documentary project: “'Experience mountain farmers' shows appreciation for agriculture. You can taste the love of daily work in the end product. The farmers' stories come alive.” After the presentation by an InTopic introductory Project trailers BR presenter Achim Bogdahn started the evening's talk session. In entertaining discussions, the team behind “Bergbauern erleben”, Diebergader pleasure ambassador Magdalena Neuner, who attended the talks as a guest of honor, and two of the protagonists of the project, Klaus Schreyer and ReginaHölzl, were first introduced. Both mountain farmers impressively conveyed their passion but also the challenges of their profession. This was followed by the presentation of the heart of the multimedia documentary “Bergbauern erleben”, the photo book “Bergbauern” by Klaus Maria Einwanger and his team. Finally, the theme film for spring awaited the guests. This is the first of four short seasonal documentaries and accompanies mountain farmers authentically and closely during the spring months. From now on, it can also be seen on our theme page.
For many guests, the event offered the opportunity to get to know the world of mountain farmers better or to experience it from a new perspective and to be inspired by the stories of mountain farmers in a personal conversation. It was therefore “an unforgettable evening” for many, which some will remember for a long time to come.
